Governor Ben Ayade Dumped PDP For APC.
Governor Benedict Ayade of cross River state has decamped from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC on Thursday.
Ayade announced his decision at the Executive Council chambers of the Governor’s office in Calabar.
The Governor made the announcement after a meeting with some APC chieftains led by the APC National Caretaker committee chairman, Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Others present during his declaration are Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma and Timipre Sylva Minister for State Petroleum.
