Facts Surrounding Alabi Quadri’s Case Unveiled
The Lagos State Police Command acknowledges public concerns regarding the case of 18-year-old Alabi Quadri, who was recently remanded in custody for his alleged involvement in violent attacks, public disturbance, and destruction of property in Amukoko, Lagos, earlier this year.

According to CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos Command, on January 22, 2025, a violent confrontation between groups of youths in Amukoko led to a serious breach of public peace, resulting in extensive damage to properties and widespread chaos. Innocent passersby were reportedly robbed and injured during the mayhem.
The police command swiftly launched an investigation into the incident, gathering crucial information from community members who witnessed the event and recognized some of the individuals involved. Additionally, victims of the robbery came forward to provide statements and identify the perpetrators
After a thorough investigation, Alabi Quadri and four others were arrested, charged to court, and subsequently remanded in a correctional facility pending the outcome of their trial.
