The Lagos State Police Command’s new Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, paid a courtesy visit to Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Adegoke M. Fayoade, who oversees Zone 2 Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun States. This visit took place at the Zonal Command Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos, on March 21, 2025.
CP Moshood was accompanied by senior officers from the Lagos State Command. The visit was announced in a press statement released by Zonal Spokesperson, CSP Ayuba Umma.

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) praised the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, and his management team for their outstanding efforts in maintaining peace, stability, and security in Lagos State.
The AIG noted that he has received positive feedback from the public, who have expressed their appreciation for the improved safety and peacefulness in Lagos since the CP took office.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) has pledged to support and collaborate with the Commissioner of Police (CP) in the fight against crime and criminality in Lagos and Ogun States, aiming to reduce it to the barest minimum.
In his concluding remarks, the AIG emphasized the importance of maintaining a professional and law-abiding police force. He charged the CP to ensure that personnel conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with global best practices, upholds the rule of law, and avoids tarnishing the reputation of the police force.
