Glo Expands Data Roaming Bundles to 40 Countries

Globacom has expanded its data roaming bundles, allowing subscribers to purchase affordable roaming plans for use in selected networks across 40 countries.

– United Arab Emirates
– Kenya
– Ireland
– Brazil
– India
– South Africa
– And many others

Glo subscribers traveling to these destinations can stay connected with family and business online, capture memories, and share them with loved ones back home. According to Globacom, “the data bundles come in various sizes to enable the customer to have options of choice, based on need at any particular time.

For N2,500, the subscriber gets 50MB of roaming data which is valid for 3 days

for N5,000, the customer gets 125MB of roaming data valid for seven days

N10,000 gets the customer 1GB of roaming data, which is valid for 10 days

For N25,000, the customer gets a roaming data of 2.5GB valid for 30 days

while for N50,000, the customer gets a massive 6GB of roaming data, which is valid for 60 days”.

To select a preferred data roaming bundle, active Glo customers can dial *312# and select Option 5. This can be done in Nigeria or upon arrival at the travel destination.

Roaming service is automatically activated on prepaid lines, while postpaid customers need to activate the service before subscribing to a bundle. The validity period begins when the user lands in the destination country and starts browsing.

Subscribers must connect to one of the recommended networks listed on the Glo website to avoid being charged on Pay-As-You-Go rates. Regular consumption messages will be sent to customers to monitor their data usage.
