CP JOSEPH ERIBO, Psc PRESENTS CHEQUE OF EIGHTY EIGHT MILLION, SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND NINETY THREE NAIRA, FOUR KOBO (88,616,690.04k) TO FAMILIES OF 54 DECEASED OFFICERS

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police CP Joseph Eribo has presented cheques worth Eighty eight million, six hundred and sixteen thousand, six hundred and ninety three naira, four kobo only to 54 families of deceased Police officers on Monday 21st October, 2024.

ASP Timfon John, Police Public Relations Officer Akwa Ibom State Police Command in a statement said CP Eribo, Psc was assisted by members of his Management Team. While presenting the cheques to the deceased family members, he informed that the Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM has made the welfare of Police officers and their families a topmost prority.

CP Joseph Eribo, Psc further called on beneficiaries who are next of kin to the deceased officers to ensure that they make optimal use of the funds provided to them so that it will help them stand on their feet and also cater for their respective families. The force in her entirety condoles with the family of the fallen heroes.

The cheques issued to the next of kin by the CP Onbehalf of the IGP are parts of the IGPs family Welfare Scheme, Group Life Assurance and Group personal Accident Insurance Scheme.

In their response, beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Police Force. They all promised to make good use of the funds and prayed God to bless the IGP, the CP and the Nigerian Police Force.
