DSP USMAN MUHAMMED, (DCO, CENTRAL POLICE STATION ADENIJI ADELE) BOWS OUT OF SERVICE IN A GRAND STYLE.

..Enjoins Other Police Officers To Be Faithful To Their Superiors.

DSP Usman Mohammed, DCO Central Police Station Adeniji Adele was pulled out of service after 35 years of Meritorious service in a memorable ceremony. The colourful event took place on Saturday, 31st of August, 2024 at the Police Station premises.

The immediate past Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) Central Police station Adeniji Adele, Lagos State Police Command, DSP Usman Mohammed (DSP) who was once a Crime Officer at the Division for many years advised all serving police officers to be loyal to their bosses while discharging their duties.

The gallant officer made the assertion over the weekend at his retirement ceremony organized by the Officers of the Division to bid him farewell after a long thirty five years of meritorious service to the nation.

While recalling some memorable incidents, he adviced other officers to be steadfast, more dedicated and obedient. He noted that because of his loyalty and patience, he was able to subdue every obstacles and succeeded, not bugged of all the accusations, as the former DPO was a witness to all the allegations levelled against him. DSP Usman however, appreciated all his colleagues from different formations who demonstrated love and unflinching support during his service days.

Eze Ndigbo of Bariga, Eze Ikenga in his a short speech said the retired Officer is a dedicated officer, who discharged his duty accordingly, he added that it took the grace of God for someone to serve the nation for good 35 years without any problem.

He encouraged him to engage himself with other work or business to keep him busy, to keep his body and soul together. He also advised him stay healthy and active even as he retired from service, he has retired but not tired. He prayed for him and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Moreover, the Divisional Police Officer DPO, Central Police station Adeniji Adele, CSP Abidemi Akanmu in his short speech described the retired Officer, DSP Usman as an handworking and very active officer who deserved accolades, has worked with him diligently and wished him all the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Iyaloja of Adeniji Adele accompanied by her entourage, in her short remark, described the officer as a jovial, kind, gallant and a proactive officer.

Mr Lukman Sulaiman (AKA) Senior, a close ally, a friend of the Police also Commended the retired DCO for his good job, appreciated him with cash gift.

The Former DPO (Rtd) CSP Saliu Awawa 1, was satisfied with his excellent performance, he showered him with praise.

 

Prince from Federal SWAT Adeniji Adele Annex, also described DSP Usman as an intelligent, dutiful and well behaved officer. Especially, the way handled criminal cases, he observed that he was a disciplined officer whom he knew for a period of time.

At the occasion, lots of guests, including the officers of Adeniji Adele Division showered him with different gifts and cash gift which was presented by the DPO CSP Abidemi Akanmu. There was cutting of cakes.

To cap it all, the management of the TORCH NEWS MEDIA also presented a Meritorious Award of Excellence to DSP Usman in recognition of his immense commitment, selfless service and excellent performance.

To mention a few important guests who graced the occasion were the representative of Deputy Commissioner of Police Federal SWAT, Annex Adeniji Adele, DCP Kayode Ayilara, ably represented by his Personal Assistant Prince, Former DPO Adeniji Adele, (Rtd) CSP Sanni Salihu Awawa, the DPO Adeniji Adele Division CSP Abidemi Akanmu, Eze ndigbo of Bariga, Eze Stephen Ikenga Ezeawa, Iyaoja of Adenjii Adeĺe, the Alhaji Imam, Mr Lukman Sulaiman (AKA) Senior, his elder brother, Mr Muhammed, who also retired from the Police Force some years back.

Also in attendance were some family members of the retired Officer Usman from Ilorin, Kwara State, the New Divisional Crime Officer, Station Officer, friends, well wishers and other important guests not mentioned
