Ahead of the forthcoming Gubernatorial election coming up in Edo and Ondo state respectively in 2024 , a non governmental organization. The Press Society (TPS) is calling on journalists to apply and participate in its sensitisation workshop aimed towards building their capacity.

Considering the harsh economic reality across states in Nigeria which culminated to the recent protest, it is important for journalists covering elections to be more sensitive to this reality than other stakeholders.

To ensure this happens, The Press Society in one of its thematic area of focus Advocacy and Sensitisation is organizing a virtual sensitisation workshop for journalists who wish to cover elections in Edo and Ondo States respectively (TPS Sensitization Meeting on Edo and Ondo States Election
