CSP Adetayo Akerele is the immediate past Officer in Charge/Commander of
the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) enforcement Squad, he was later meritoriously elevated and appointed as the Chairman of Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Monday, June 25, 2024.
Prior to his appointment, he was the Second in Command, (2ic) at the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), Bolade, Oshodi. He also served as Human Rights Officer at Sango Ota Police Division in 2016, and as Sector Commander for the IGP Task Force on Anti-Pipeline Vandalism from 2012 to 2016.
CSP Akerele Adetayo Oluwasegun, is happily married with beautiful children.
