The United Nations Nations Africa honoured the Eze Ndigbo of Ejigbo, His Excellency, Eze Nicholas Emenike Njoku, Eziokwu Bu Ndu of Ikeduru, Imo State, Ohazurume 1, of Ejigbo, lagos with the United Nations Diplomatic International Passport and car plate number at his Palace on Sunday, July 7, 2024. This was done In recognition of his selfless services of impacting lives Positively.

The occasion commences with an opening prayers, Kola nuts broken is an important aspect of Igbo tradition..The kola nut is broken and eaten when the host welcomes all his guests  into his home,/  Palace .

It’s a powerful symbol of mutual respect and community. Men are deemed worthy of sharing the kola when they demonstrate their commitment to tribal values and customs.

The reason why the International Diplomatic Society honoured him with the award was to acknowledge his philanthropic gestures, celebrate him and encourage him to continuously impact more lives positively.

The recipient, His Royal highness, Amb. Eze Nicholas Emenike Njoku in an interview with the journalists, stated that the award bestowed upon him today is a call for more responsibilities and to enable him make more impacts in the lives of the people in the society.

His words, “I have greater obligation before me, I have more work, more persistence, and more focusness to ensure I move forward.

“If you work with knowledge, you will be limited, but if you work with God you will be unlimited. This calls for more closeness to the lord, to seek his wisdom, his grace and mercy.

“Even if you have all the wisdom and knowledge without good health, you are going no where. So I need to draw closer to God, be unassuming to the people around me

Stating further, “My plan of action going forward is to Unify the three ethnic groups, Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa communities because the community comprises of these three ethnic groups which we have been working on for years. “I want to ensure I exhibit actions that would bring peace between the ethnic group in my community”.

Amb. Eze Emenike Njoku stated
that, life is about truthfulness, it is because he is being truthful that his name was attached with ‘Alias Eziokubundu.’

“It is the peace that brings development, we will continue preaching peace, by saying the truth without minding whose ox is gored.

“If you are protecting your tribe alone, you will be limited and there will be no peace, there is need for more advocacy unity, peace and truth among the Igbos”. Eze Njoku declared.

According to him, Eze Amb.Emenike Njoku, “I urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to see every Nigerian as one, he should look inward so as to know the problems of the nation. “Without peace and unity, we can’t move forward”. He advised.

The Ogbotemba 1 of Ipere land, Eze Ndigbo of Ikeja, Eze Uche Dimgba in an interview with the journalists, spoke on the importance of the award conferred on Eze Amb. Njoku.

His words, “We the Igbos travel a lot. One of us has been picked as ambassador for United Nation. One good turn deserves another that is why we have come to celebrate him.

“He is trying to work according to dictates of United Nation. Trying to push poverty out of the world.

“Eze Amb. Nicholas Emenike Njoku has been impacting lives so positively and United nations found him worthy to bestow him with this title.

“We are happy with him, we pray to God to continue to give him strength to do good things for Nigeria and the world in general”. He added
