Lagos State Commissioner Of Police, Adegoke Fayoade continues his familaization tour to Area E. Festac Town. …Commissioned Additional Office Block at Ojo Police Division.

As part of his familiarisation tour to Area E, Command Festac on Thursday 16th May 2024, CP Adegoke Fayoade commissioned an additional office block at Ojo Divisional Police Headquarters, Under Area E Command, and under the watchful eye of ACP Eburaja, the Area Commander.

The Divisional Police Officer, (DPO) CSP Umar Bala, Officers in Ojo Division and some stakeholders in Ojo welcomed CP Adegoke and his men The Purpose of his visit is to bolster security architecture in Ojo Division,

The momentous occasion is as a result of the generosity and support of the business and traders community, whose contributions have helped us address the long-standing issue of insufficient space in our station.”

“The completion of the new building marks a significant step forward in our efforts to improve the working conditions and efficiency of our officers. With this additional office space, we can now coordinator our operations better and respond more effectively to the needs of the community we serve. This will indeed enhance our ability to combat crime and safeguard the safety and security of our citizens”.

The DPO Ojo Division, CSP Umar Bala acknowledged their generosity that have transformed the physical look of the station and also boosted the morale and spirits of their dedicated officers.

He stated that the belief People have in their mission and willingness to partner with them is highly commendable, as he urged their esteemed partners in the business community to continuously supporting the initiatives of the Police Force.

Bala, however stated that their continuous assistance is very important in the ongoing efforts to prevent crimes, protect lives and safeguard properties, noting that with their joint efforts, our community will be stronger and safer place to live.

As part of the activities, also to show
appreciation to the donors for their unflinching support, CP Adegoke Fayoade presented awards to some of these stakeholders. In return they reaffirmed their commitment to support the police Force to fight crime.

On his part, CP Fayoade mentioned and appreciated the stakeholders for their unwavering support. ” I really thank and appreciate you all for your kind gestures, I am very conversant with Ojo, I know ilembe hausa, even to the riverine areas like irewe, ibeshe and so on. I happened to be a supervisor during a Census Activities at a particular time in the past. Actually, I can see the road is bad but I can assure you that the Government will surely do something about it. Not to take much of your time I just want to say a big thank you for your unflinching support in Ojo Division”.

Speaking further, “We need your maximum support, policing cannot be done alone, we need your support in disseminating information, support in logistics and out of magnanimity, out of love for safety and security and hard earn money you have done all these on behalf of Inspector General we say thank you.

“I promise you all that we will do our own part as we supposed to do, having you in mind is our major interest. Policing is done very well when you have people in mind. We will respond anytime there is distress calls, day and night, my phone number is open for people, am always accessible.

“I believe Ojo Alaba Amalgamated are having their election anytime soon, I will invite all the executive members for a meeting, so that we can a peaceful election.

“Conclusively, We want your continuous support in all aspects, and police will put their best effort”.
