The Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected  electricty cable vandal.

The suspects, whose name was identified as Abu Ali, Male, Aged 35, was said to have been arrested by the officers from Pen Cinema Division at about 1:00 am in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 21 2024, when the motorists sighted someone cutting the cable wires at Odo Eran, they quickly alerted the police.

Lagos State Police Spokesperson, SP Ben Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest in a statement on his X handle @Benhundeyin, on Tuesday Morning.
He stated that the suspect had been arrested and will be prosecuted.

He Xed; “At about 1am, officers from Pen Cinema Division responded to calls from motorists that somebody was sighted cutting cables. Abu Ali aged 35 was arrested at Odo Eran bus stop, Ogba, with vandalized cables”.
