Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, psc wishes to inform the general public that the state Police Command has emplaced adequate security to ensure that the year’s EASTER season is celebrated peacefully without fear of insecurity.

The essence of this announcement is to re-assure the good people of the State about the readiness and level of preparedness of the Osun Police Command to guarantee adequate and watertight security during this period and beyond at all religious centres, social gatherings and leisure parks.

Criminals are also put on notice that the Police will not condone any person or group of people suspected to be planning criminal acts as anyone found in this act will be dealt with according to the law.

Further more, Osun State Police Command appeals to the public to always give prompt, credible and useful information in order to prevent acts of lawlessness and all infractions of the law.

Finally, the CP urges the Christian faithful to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols as they celebrate the Easter.
