Sunday Ighoho house was razed at Soka, Ibadan. He speaks.

An old house of Yoruba rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho has been razed by suspected arsonists in Soka, lbadan. The incident occurred around 3am on Tuesday morning.

According to reports gathered, the house was set on fire as a revenge attack in retaliation for the alleged destruction executed in fulani communities in Jgangan – Ibarapa area of Ibadan in Oyo state.

Igboho has reacted to the incident saying he won’t point accusing Finger on any individual or group or suspected arsonist, but would rather wait and allow authorities to conduct and conclude their investigation into the incident.

According to him, “I cannot blame anyone right now for the attack, not even Fulani people”, he said via telephone interview few hours after the fire attack this morning.
“We have to thank God that nobody was killed, it is more important”, he noted.
